How to Use
- Ensure affected skin or wound is clean
- Gently pat dry excess exudate or wound fluid prior to gel application
- For best results maintain continuous contact with skin (24 hours a day / 7 days a week)
- On damaged or broken skin not requiring secondary dressing: Apply a very thin layer and allow gel to dry
- When applied correctly, Stratamed should be dry in 5-6 minutes
- If it takes longer to dry, gently remove excess with clean tissue or gauze
- Apply once daily, or twice daily to exposed areas, or as advised by your physician
- Once dry, may be covered by sunscreen, cosmetics, pressure garments or casts
- If removed by washing, reapply
- On wounds requiring secondary dressing: Apply thin layer then cover with secondary dressing - drying not necessary
- Reapply when changing dressing or checking wound progress

Warnings
- For external use only
- Should not be placed in contact with the eyes
- Should not be applied over other skin treatments without advice of your physician
- May stain clothing if not completely dry - dry cleaning should remove stains without damaging fabric
- Reclose tube tightly with cap for correct storage
- If wound shows signs of infection or fails to heal after 30 days, consult your physician
- If irritation occurs, discontinue use and consult your physician
- Not suitable for highly exudative wounds, tunneling wounds or 3rd degree burns
- Keep out of reach of children
- Do not use after expiration date printed on tube
- Do not use if tube is damaged
- Sterile until opened
Storage
- Reclose tube tightly with cap after each use
- Does not require special disposal methods - follow local disposal regulations
