Product Description
- Maltofer is an oral iron therapy for the treatment and prevention of iron deficiency in adults and adolescents where the use of ferrous iron supplements is not tolerated or is otherwise inappropriate
- Less likely to cause constipation compared to ferrous sulfate iron
- Fewer gastrointestinal side effects means less constipation, less nausea, and an effective dose of iron
- The absorption of iron from Maltofer takes place by a controlled mechanism
- Does not release large amounts of iron at once, which is why it is less likely to cause gastrointestinal side effects like constipation
- Iron polymaltose ensures your body only absorbs the iron it needs when it is needed, providing reliable correction of iron levels
